What is the stand the IPHC has on bankruptcy and can a person become a minister after filing for bankruptcy? The IPHC ministerial application does contain a question regarding bankruptcy. It asks for the details of the bankruptcy, such as: date, cause, etc. The conference superintendent and board evaluate the situation and seek to determine whether or not the bankruptcy will have a negative impact on the candidate's ability to minister effectively in a community.
