What do you, as a church and as a pastor, believe about homosexuals? Please be more specific than "love the sinner, hate the sin." Do you allow practicing homosexuals to operate as members and or leaders in the church?

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church addresses the issue of homosexuality in its official Manual of doctrine, church government, and Christian life:

"We maintain a strong biblical position against premarital, extramarital, and deviant sex, including homosexual and lesbian relationships." IPHC Manual, 2001-2005, pgs 97, 98.

The IPHC does not grant ministerial credentials or local church membership or leadership to a practicing homosexual.

If a person repents of and rejects the sinful acts of homosexuality and homosexual lifestyle, that person is reconciled to God through Jesus and Christ and can be a member of a local IPHC church and serve in leadership.

We do not promote "hatred" of homosexuals (or of anyone or any group, for that matter). However, we do encourage Christians to, as you put it, "hate the sin but love the sinner" in such a fashion that genuine repentance and tranformation can occur.
