Disciple3 Training Kit
We believe God is calling us not only to bring people to church but to disciple them as committed followers of Christ, active in ministry in the church and the community, and committed to reproduce.

The Mission 21 Task Force has prepared this excellent resource to assist you in leading your congregation to become a disciple-making church. Some of the most talented and creative people of the IPHC serve on this task force.

We challenge each pastor to utilize these materials to build disciple-making churches which will evangelize the community and plant daughter congregations.

Reaching People
Our strategy includes a personal evangelism emphasis, Reach3, a church planting emphasis, Plant3 and a prayer emphasis, Lighthouses of Prayer.

Reach3, is a simple-to-implement and easy-to-administer friendship evangelism strategy. It requires no special funding, no special training and can be done by virtually any member in your church.

Plant3 is a church-planting focus based on this simple idea—a vibrant, mature congregation should be reproducing itself by helping to plant daughter churches.

The third focus of our strategy is prayer—not a general prayer time, but a very specific and focused prayer effort. Each family can become a "lighthouse for prayer," in short, leaving the light on for neighbors to find their way back home to their heavenly Father.

Mobilze for Ministry
Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary defines mobilize as: "To put into movement or circulation; to release (something stored in the organism) for bodily use; to assemble and make ready for war duty; to marshal (as resources) for action."

Part of Webster’s definition includes, "to release (something stored in the organism) for bodily use." How appropriate for the Body of Christ. God has placed people with spiritual gifts into your local body for its use. They have exactly what is needed to help your church fulfill its purpose in the kingdom’s warfare. A fully mobilized church uses all of the resources that have been provided by its commander-in-chief, Jesus Christ.

Visioncare: Bringing the Future Into Focus
This VisionCare material, developed by the Mission 21 team, will help the local church examine its eyesight and correct its vision. The teaching sessions and workshops are designed to sharpen the vision of the local church to see and accomplish God’s mission of evangelism for the church.

What is your church’s vision? Does it see clearly the ripened harvest? Peter calls for the church to examine its vision and to improve its sight. He speaks of the church being “shortsighted, even to blindness” (2 Peter 1:9). Some churches may have excellent vision. They understand who they are and their mission in Christ. Others need to improve their vision. VisionCare will write the prescription for clear vision.

If we see clearly who we are and the great work of evangelism God has given to us, we will become a Great Commission Church.
